Jenny Tumba, MD

Dr. Jenny Tumba was born in Albania and raised in Lombard, IL. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as an undergraduate, earning a degree in Chemistry and working as an organic chemistry teaching assistant. For medical school, she attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, where she helped organize and lead a science immersion/career pipeline program for underrepresented minority and disadvantaged youth in Winnebago County Illinois. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, awarded the selective Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, the University of Illinois College of Medicine Research Day Dean Action Council Award, and the University of Illinois College of Medicine Research Day Fred S. Bailey Scholarship Award. In Madison, she enjoys all the festivals and the farmers market, taking Salsa dance lessons, and trying all the different Madison restaurants. Her hobbies include volleyball (there is a resident team!), dance, travel, and trying new foods.
