Jenny Tumba, MD 


Medical School: University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford

Born in Albania and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Jenny has always enjoyed learning about different aspects of several cultures. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as an undergrad. During this time, she was an organic chemistry teaching assistant. As a medical student at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, she helped organize and lead a science immersion/career pipeline program for underrepresented minority & disadvantaged youth in Winnebago County in Illinois. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and was awarded the selective Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award.
