Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship page. Our one-year Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship program has a lot to offer, and we are dedicated to providing our fellows with excellent training. Our graduated fellows have successfully embraced their identities as geriatric psychiatrists who can help improve the lives of older adult patients and their families, while leading the way to teach others to improve the quality of care for older adults in the community.

Our Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program began in 1980, making it one of the oldest in the country. The Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program is a key component of the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital’s Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC), a National Center of Excellence for the care of older adults within the VA Healthcare System.
