PFAC

UW Health began Patient Family and Advisor Partnership Program to partner with patients and family members to improve the quality of care and services we provide and to improve the overall patient and family experience. We want to use the constructive input that only patients and family members can provide to help future patients experience even higher levels of satisfaction. Various departments within UW Health have a Patient and Family Advisor Council (PFAC) including PFAC Behavioral Health, previously PFAC Psychiatry.

PFAC Behavioral Health was launched in 2014 and continues to meet monthly with providers, managers, patients and family advocates to improve services at all of our Behavioral Health locations within UW Health. The meeting is where we come together to discuss topics such as, but not limited to:

  1. New Clinic walk throughs – providing feedback how to make clinics more patient-centered
  2. Website or Media Feedback – improving social media or media outreach
  3. Initial Call or Intake Process – Reviewing initial phone call questions, access, and follow-up
  4. Group Therapy – Reviews of our current offerings and offering insight into gaps where we can improve or add more services
  5. AND MORE!

PFAC Behavioral Health is always recruiting new members!
