For the past 25 years, the HealthEmotions Research Institute and it's founders Ned Kalin, MD and Richie Davidson, PhD, have been hosting this unique and in-depth two day symposium, which explores cutting-edge findings in affective neuroscience.

APA Reception

Each year, in conjunction with the American Psychiatric Association's Annual Meeting, the UW Department of Psychiatry hosts a reception for alumni, faculty, friends and affiliates of the department.

This reception is held to honor the legacy of Dr. Ann Kelley and her groundbreaking contributions to neuropsychopharmacology. The event also honors the recipient of the Ann E. Kelley Fellowship in Behavioral Neuroscience.
