"We sincerely thank our donors for their passion in seeing us succeed, and for funding faculty members, endowed chairs, research equipment, laboratories, and the Hedberg HealthEmotions Institute."
Ned Kalin, MD, Hedberg Professor and Chair of Psychiatry - Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison enjoys an amazing combination of faculty and infrastructure. In addition to the great support we receive from the School of Medicine and Public Health and the university, we receive grants from the National Institutes of Health and numerous funding agencies. Most significantly, we receive gifts from private donors who have inspired us to think creatively about what we can accomplish in the near future.
We sincerely thank our donors for their passion in seeing us succeed, and for funding faculty members, endowed chairs, research equipment, laboratories, and the Hedberg HealthEmotions Institute.
Online giving for the Department of Psychiatry is managed by the University of Wisconsin Foundation, the steward of some $2.41 billion in gifts made to support the mission of the University of Wisconsin.
- Support the Lane Schizophrenia Research Fund
- Support the HealthEmotions Research Institute Fund which provides travel grants for neuroscience trainees across the country to participate in the annual Wisconsin Symposium on Emotion
