Dawn Sherman, MD

Medical School: University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Dawn writes, “As a psychiatrist, I hope to implement the therapeutic strategies that can help all patients live their best lives.”  While a student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine School and Public Health, she and a classmate conducted a project in which they discussed the 1998 Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) study by Vincent Felitti and Robert Anda. She hopes to provide trauma informed care and work with people who have experienced interpersonal violence in the future.

Dawn enjoys traveling, caving, and European and African history.
