Jesus ‘Zeus’ Pichardo, MA (he/him) is a Child Track intern and a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Iowa. His clinical work has focused on treating school-age children and adolescents with a range of presenting concerns including ADHD, anxiety, depression, difficulties establishing/maintaining peer relationships, and challenging behaviors (e.g., aggression, destruction, eloping). He is particularly passionate about reducing barriers to access in rural settings and engaging in interdisciplinary crisis postvention, as well as working within the broader LGBTQ+ community. Zeus’ research interests center on scale development, with a specific focus on creating a screener for Social Communication Disorder. Zeus is excited to be joining WisPIC for his pre-doctoral internship and having the opportunity to work with interdisciplinary teams in order to promote the wellbeing of children in the Madison area while continuing to hone his skills in the area of assessment.
