Madeleine Nowak, M.D.

Madeleine earned her medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her undergraduate education at Marquette University. In medical school, she volunteered on an adult inpatient psychiatry unit in the evenings where she built meaningful relationships with patients by spending time with them in a non-clinical role. She also completed research in quality improvement focusing on discharge optimization, served as a peer mentor, and volunteered at free clinics in Milwaukee. She has experienced personal loss familiarizing her with the devastating effects of psychiatric illness. She has a profound commitment to walk alongside patients with empathy.
