Maged graduated from Beni Suef University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt. He worked with the Clinical Trials Unit here at the University of Wisconsin and was one of the key staff on an inpatient-based clinical pharmaceutical research program. Maged continues to volunteer with Madison Friends of International Students and Doctors with a Vision. He is interested in contining research “in the areas of Consultation Liaison psychiatry and neuropsychiatry trying to answer the remaining questions about disease pathologies and risk factors and improve strategies for preventing and treating mental and medical conditions through both psych and pharmacotherapies”. He enjoys reading about history & astronomy,playing soccer and biking.
