Position title: PGY2

Medical School: University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Brandon joins us from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health with his “desire to care for underserved communities through individualized health advocacy and community engagement.” This commitment is seen in his roles as co-president of Medical Students for Minority Concerns at UWSMPH and engagement in the UW Center for Health Disparities Research. He is also an active member in the Wisconsin Psychiatric Association Legislative Committee, most recently meeting with the Wisconsin Department of Human Services and presenting data about the benefits of the Collaborative Care Model as a way to improve access to care in Wisconsin. In his free time he enjoys playing the clarinet (he is a former member of the UW Marching Band), volleyball, paddle boarding, and cooking paella.
