Medical School: Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine

Pariss shares her goal “as a practicing psychiatrist is to become a patient advocate for people of all backgrounds”. She joins us from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. During medical school, she started the Rocky Vista University Student Initiative for Community Outreach Support in coordination with the Highlands Ranch Community Association Therapeutic Recreation Program which allowed medical student volunteers to provide care and support for individuals with physical disabilities. Prior to medical school she worked as an EMT for a mental health crisis team which served 30 counties in Southwest Colorado. She enjoys Painting with Bob Ross, Great British Baking Show inspired baking & water coloring during said show, writing & performing stand-up comedy, reading, listening to podcasts, meditation with intentional breathing, mountain biking, hiking, and camping.
