Maggie Collins, MA (she/her) is an Adult Track intern and a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She completed her BA in Psychology at Indiana University – Bloomington. Maggie’s clinical passions surround the implementation of trauma-informed and culturally-informed health psychology services for adults. Her clinical training has focused on evidence-based, interdisciplinary services to treat a range of internalizing disorders and presenting concerns related to sexual health, reproductive health, cancer care, chronic pain, complex trauma, grief, and couples’ dynamics. Her research focuses on the relationship between institutional betrayal and sexual trauma, LGBTQ+ affirmative cancer care, and trauma-informed cancer care. Maggie is thrilled to return to her home state of Wisconsin to complete her pre-doctoral internship at UW Madison. She was drawn to UW due to the breadth of clinical opportunities that align with her passions and training goals!
