Alyssandra Abrenica, M.D.

Medical School: Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine

Alyssa earned her M.D. from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in January of 2023. She is originally from Texas where she worked for Spectrum of Hope, a mental health clinic for children with autism and other developmental disorders. She was the first recipient of the AMA Foundation’s Dream MD Equity award. Alyssa currently serves as the Policy Co-Chair for Filipinx/a/o Community Health Association. She also volunteers with Senator Durbin for immigration reform lobbying, and Loyola Stritch Pride to inform communities on LGBTQ+ health issues. Alyssa is a classically trained soprano, and in her free time she enjoys singing, attending live music shows, and spending time with her dog.
