About the Speaker:

Dr. Kleinschmidt is an Assistant Professor in the CHS track and is a practicing primary care physician at UW Health Union Corners Internal Medicine. He currently serves as the Physician Informatics Director for Health IT Safety at UW Health. He completed his medical school, residency, and chief residency at the University of Wisconsin. His research is in clinical informatics, human factors, and patient safety. He additionally is focused on improving on provider efficiency and ease of practice when working with the electronic health record.


 

About the Series:

The Educational Conference series is a series of lectures designed to provide clinically useful information to the practicing psychiatrist (faculty or trainee).  Every 1 to 2 months an intra- or extra-departmental speaker is invited to speak on a topic of interest selected by current faculty.  This educational series is open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend.  Continue Medical Education units (CME’s) are available to eligible attendees.

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
