Owen Bowie

Medical School: Medical College of Wisconsin

Dr. Bowie comes to the Department of Psychiatry from doing a Transitional Year at HCA Healthcare/USF Morsani in Brandon, Florida. Owen completed his medical school training at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in 2024 where he was awarded an Honors in Research. Owen has worked at Rogers Behavioral Health as a behavioral specialist, as well as working at MCW’s student-run free clinic as their Board Chair of the Education Resource committee and as co-chair of their clinic Advisory Committee. Owen notes psychiatry feels “most at home” and helps to foster meaningful, long-term connections with patients and colleagues. Owen’s hobbies include competing in triathlons, social fitness clubs and outdoor activities like soccer, hiking, skiing and fishing.
