About the Speaker:
Meredith E. Rumble, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She received an MA and PhD in clinical psychology with a health psychology concentration from Duke University in Durham, NC and completed her APA-approved psychology internship at the Durham VA Medical Center. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and other sleep disorders. She also has specialization in the treatment of mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders and adjustment to chronic health conditions.
Dr. Rumble is the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program Director and the Adult Track Director of the Clinical Psychology Internship Program. In these roles, she regularly teaches, supervises, and mentors Psychology Interns, Psychiatry Residents, and Sleep Fellows. She also provides continuing education for independent practitioners regarding behavioral sleep assessment and treatment. She engages in clinical research as a Co-Investigator. Her current research examines sleep disturbance in the context of depression and cancer.

About the Series:
The Educational Conference series is a series of lectures designed to provide clinically useful information to the practicing psychiatrist (faculty or trainee). Every 1 to 2 months an intra- or extra-departmental speaker is invited to speak on a topic of interest selected by current faculty. This educational series is open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend. Continue Medical Education units (CME’s) are available to eligible attendees.
