Laura Levy

Medical School: Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine

Dr. Levy comes to the Department of Psychiatry from the Pediatrics Residency at Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center. Laura earned her medical degree and masters of public health in epidemiology at Oregon Health & Science University in 2024. Some of her experiences in psychiatry include completing a quality improvement project on violence risk assessments at the Oregon State Hospital, being a co-coordinator for a longitudinal research workshop series through the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and working on an inpatient pediatric psychiatric residential unit. Laura is an active advocate for improved psychiatric support for youth, with long-standing interest in  psychiatry and public health policy. Laura’s hobbies include embroidery, anything in nature and lifting weights.
