Teresa Hackler

Medical School: University of Colorado School of Medicine

Teresa will be graduating from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in May 2025. Before medical school, she spent time in Rwanda conducting research with victims and perpetrators of genocide. Her experience also includes volunteering with the Denver Indian Family Resource Center. She states that their mission, supporting the diverse needs of American Indian children, is “close to my heart given my own family structure and passion for promoting healthy indigenous communities.” In her spare time, Teresa can be found lost in a book, spending as much time as she can in the sunshine, or pampering her mini-dachshund.
