Pediatric Track Psychology Intern
Morgan Treaster is a Pediatric Track psychology intern. Originally from central Pennsylvania, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA. She is currently completing her graduate degree at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN with a didactic and clinical emphasis on integrated primary care and providing services to a primarily rural community. Much of her graduate research has focused on resiliency traits and risk factors which impact physical and mental health-related quality of life among individuals living with a chronic illness. In clinical settings, Morgan has an interest in helping children and families with psychosocial adjustment to chronic illness, health behavior changes for disease management, and promotion of treatment adherence. During internship year, Morgan is looking forward to greater exposure to a more diverse range of healthcare professionals and specialists, while also working in a medical inpatient setting that provides care to patients with a wide range of physical and mental health comorbidities.
