Israel Labao, MD

PGY3 - Clinical Educator Track

Medical School: Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University

Our program has had quite a run of residents with Masters of Public Health degrees – and Israel continues that streak. In his MPH project at Yale, Israel examined effective approaches in healthcare leadership; he served as Co-President of the Yale chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives; and he has published on healthcare administration. Israel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he majored in Psychology and Spanish (in which he is fluent). At Rosalind Franklin University,  he twice received the Outstanding Community Service Award and where he was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Israel has also been recognized for his accomplishments with a U.S. Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Award.
