Provider Profile

I earned my Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Colorado State University in 2013. Since then, I have been working primarily with children and adolescents, along with their families, both in-home and in outpatient settings. The majority of my work involves managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, trauma and other life stressors, and ADHD. I also have experience working with adults who are undergoing major changes in their life, and seeking general guidance and support. I take a systems approach with everyone I work with. That is to say, I do not only assist the individual in creating change, I assist whoever plays a role in that person’s life (partners, family, school, etc.). I typically utilize Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. In my most recent role in outpatient services, I also co-facilitated the Adults and Children Together (ACT) parenting group.

I believe that no individual or family is the same and cannot be treated as such, and I’m eager to learn about what makes each family unique. I also firmly believe in the importance of goodness of fit between a client and therapist. I want you to get the most out of the services you receive, whatever that means for you. I look forward to working with you!
