Maggie Kaiser, MD

PGY1

Medical School: University of Wisconsin Madison

Maggie’s commitment to serving the underserved runs deep: While an undergrad at UW-Milwaukee, she entered the Rural and Urban Scholars in Community Health (RUSCH) program, a two-year internship through which Maggie developed a program to create access to reproductive health services, organized a community health fair, and helped with a study of youth with PTSD. As a medical student here at UWSMPH, she participated in research on opioid use disorders and she co-led the Substance Abuse and Addiction Interest Group. We feel fortunate that Maggie has chosen to continue her career at UW, and to help improve the care of people with substance use disorders in Wisconsin.
