Dr. Maggie Kaiser, from Wauwatosa, WI, attended the University of Milwaukee for her undergraduate work in Biological Sciences and Psychology. While at UW-Milwaukee, she entered the Rural and Urban Scholars in Community Health (RUSCH) program, a two-year internship through which Maggie developed a program to create access to reproductive health services, organized a community health fair, and helped with a study of youth with PTSD.  She then went to the University of WIsconson Madison for medical school.  There she participated in research on opiod use disorders and she co-led the Substance Abuse and Addiction Interest Group. She enjoys exploring new restaurants in Madison and kayaking on Lake Mendota. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, reading, crocheting, and traveling with her husband.
