Child Track Psychology Intern

Danielle Jack-James is a Child Track psychology intern. She is completing her doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in clinical child and adolescent psychology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. Her research interests are broadly focused on risk and protective factors that influence positive youth outcomes. Currently, she is developing a risk assessment for juvenile delinquency for adolescents from Trinidad and Tobago. Her clinical interests involve working with children, adolescents, and their families with a broad array of presenting concerns in a variety of settings. She also likes working with couples and has special interests in working with minority and marginalized groups. Danielle was interested in completing her pre-doctoral internship at UW Madison because of the breadth of clinical training experiences and opportunities to learn from different supervisors
