Adult Track Psychology Intern
Nathaniel (Nate) Eckland is an Adult Track Psychology intern completing his graduate degree in Clinical-Community Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed his undergraduate education, majoring in Psychology, at Washington University in St Louis. Nate’s research investigates the role of emotional processes in the development and maintenance of psychopathology and the promotion of well-being. He is particularly interested in emotional awareness, or the extent to which individuals monitor, understand, and distinguish among their emotions. Nate looks forward to continuing to develop expertise in treating a variety of mood and anxiety disorders across the lifespan and is excited to explore new clinical opportunities on internship.
