Megan Duininck, MD

Medical School: University of Minnesota Medical School

Megan graduated from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN with an undergraduate degree in nutrition and then went on to complete medical school there as well. An avid health and fitness enthusiast, she’s taught group fitness classes, worked as a personal trainer, and self-published a cookbook. She writes about choosing psychiatry, “Working in fitness confirmed my love for learning peoples’ stories and collaborating with them on their health. It has also strengthened my natural ability to form trusting relationships, and fed my curiosity about the ways diet and exercise interact with mental health.” In her spare time during residency, she enjoys reading, weight lifting, hiking, and camping.
