Dr. Stacy Armstrong earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology following an APA approved internship at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex in 1989. She provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, work-life balance, eating disorders, grief, stress management, and life transitions. Additionally, she specializes in working with survivors of childhood and adult abuse, as well as relationship issues. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is essential to building a foundation of trust and respect in order to address these issues. Dr. Armstrong blends cognitive, behavioral, and family systems interventions to build upon clients’ natural strengths and to facilitate improved problem solving abilities, increased self-confidence, and a greater overall sense of well-being.
