Natalie Burke, MEd
Adult Track Psychology Intern
Natalie Burke is an Adult Track psychology intern and is completing her doctorate in clinical psychology at University of Louisville. Before attending University of Louisville, Natalie earned her M.Ed. in Child Studies with a focus in Empirical Research at Vanderbilt University. Her graduate work and clinical interests have focused on mindfulness and self-concept clarity in marginalized populations (e.g., low-income college students, LGBTQ individuals) and individuals with chronic pain. Natalie is a certified yoga instructor and is interested in the impact of yoga and mindfulness-based therapies on people’s relationships to their bodies and physical sensations. While at UW Natalie hopes to gain more experience using mindfulness-based interventions with health psychology populations in integrative care settings.
