Kristin Blake, MD

Medical School: University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Kristin shares that her passion for psychiatry has grown from her desire to care for others holistically. Before medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Kristin practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in a Traditional Chinese Medicine practice in Minnesota. She holds a master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota and a bachelors degree in Spanish and Ancient Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. While in medical school, she was on the Healthy Classroom Foundation’s Board and served as a TA for an undergraduate pre-health summer global study course in Shanghai. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, ballroom and Latin dancing, yoga, and Tai Chi.
