Sage Bates

Adult Track Psychology Intern

Sage Bates is an Adult Track intern and currently a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL.  She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University – Indianapolis, IN. Sage is interested in examining factors that impact help-seeking and is passionate about destigmatizing mental health care. Her research focuses on better understanding the stigma of OCD-related disorders, including hoarding. Sage was drawn to UW Madison because of the wide variety of training experiences and is excited to be part of the interdisciplinary team during her internship year.
